Create User Account

Setting up a user account for submitting your ORSO contributions is easy.

Please watch the below video which explains the User Registration as well as the Organisation Registration. Alternatively, read through the article below for User Registration only.

Let's begin creating your user account by following these steps:

1. Click on the Register now button in the invitation email that you received in your registered work email inbox.
2. In the page that opens, verify that your family name and given name are correct (if not, you can edit these).

Please read the terms of use and privacy policy, tick the box to confirm and press Continue.

Now you will need to create a password:

1. Type in your password using the guidelines of required letters and characters
2. Re-type that same password again, confirming the password for your account and continuing the user account creation process. 

Next you need to set up your multi-factor authentication. 

For extra protection, we suggest you set up MFA using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator and then verify your mobile phone number. 

Once you’ve downloaded the Google authenticator app, hit the + to add an account and either scan the QR code or manually enter the set up key.

Congratulations! You successfully setup your MFA authentication with an app. After completing this, you have the option to verify your mobile phone number (or you can skip this step!).

If you choose Skip for later, your account is immediately created. However, we recommend that you verify your mobile phone number as well, as an added level of security.

If you choose Verify mobile number, you can enter your Hong Kong mobile phone number. We will send a one-time password (OTP) via SMS to the phone number you entered to verify it.

You should receive an SMS containing an OTP (one time password) code to the mobile number you enter here. Provide that code here to verify your mobile number.

Congratulations! Your user account setup is now complete.
